Halo 3
Tournament Format FFA 1-8 Players
Format:
- Bring your own controller.
- The Event will have a Single Elimination Bracket.
- After finishing a Game ranked 1st-4th, Players will advance to the next Round.
- After finishing a Game ranked 5th-8th, Players will be eliminated from the Event.
- In Rounds 1-4, Players must use Split-Screen (2 Players per TV). In all other Rounds, Players must use Full- Screen (1 Player per TV). Depending on the number of entrants Full-Screen may be used throughout the event.
- Score ties will be broken using the following criteria in this order: Kills, Deaths, Assists, Headshots, Coin Toss. If Kills, Assists, or Headshots are used to break a tie, the highest number will win the tiebreaker. If Deaths is used to break a tie, the lowest number will win the tiebreaker. If a Coin Toss is used to break a tie, the lower seeded Player must call “heads” or “tails” and then the Game’s Referee will flip a coin and allow it to fall to the ground, where the side facing up will determine the winner of the tiebreaker.
- All Games will be played on the Map Heretic.
Gameplay:
- No going outside the normal boundaries of a Map.
- No going onto the Carbine Towers on Heretic.
- No going onto the ledge above the windows and inside the bases on Heretic.
- No going onto the high ledges on the outside of the bases on Heretic.
FFA Settings:
1. Shield Recharge Rate = 90%
2. Damage Modifier = 110%
3. Player Speed = 110%
4. Suicide Penalty = None
5. Time Limit = 15 Minutes
6. Score Limit = Unlimited
Settings can be practiced on Xbox Live under the MLG FFA playlist.
Finals
Finals will pit the top 8 players from the day in a pair of 2 FFAs
Top 4 of this portion determind by the combined placing of the 2 FFAs
1st = 10 points
2nd = 9 points
3rd = 8 points
4th = 7 points
5th = 6 points
6th = 5 points
7th = 4 points
8th = 3 points
Will then determine the top 4 players The top 4 players will then play 1v1 in a double-elmination bracket.

Change Score limit and Time limit to 15 and 10 respectivly
All rules of the 1v1 will be re-administerd to finalists
